Connected100 Business Club – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all members who join our Business Club through our online sign-up process. By completing your purchase, you agree to the terms outlined below. This document covers all membership tiers: VIP, Premium, and Essentials.

Your specific benefits and responsibilities will depend on the membership tier you selected at checkout.

1. Membership Benefits by Tier

A. VIP Business Membership

·       Prominent listing on our sponsor and partner page (logo, bio, and link)

·       Inclusion in the Connected Brighton mobile app

·       Welcome post across all major social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Nextdoor)

·       Ongoing promotion through: Member perk offers, Monthly content creation (posts, reels, stories), Featured newsletter content, Homepage spotlight, Blog and customised blog features

·       Opportunity to host up to four events per year with full promotional support

·       Priority access to additional sponsorship/experiential marketing

·       Exposure during Member Mixers (merch, flyers, etc.)

·       Podcast sponsorship and potential guest speaking opportunity

·       Access to Connected Brighton Social Concierge Services

·       Access to fortnightly Connected Business Club networking events

B. Premium Business Membership

·       Listing on the industry partner page with logo and link

·       Social media welcome and ongoing spotlight posts

·       Promotion through: Member perk offers, Newsletter write-ups, Blog and customised blog features

·       Participation in up to four events per year (event sponsorship or hosting)

·       Access to Connected Brighton Social Concierge Services

·       Access to fortnightly Connected Business Club networking events, with discounted/free access

C. Essentials Business Membership

·       Listing on the industry partner page with logo and link

·       Social media welcome posts and shares

·       Promotion through: Member perk offers, Newsletter mentions

·       Access to Connected Brighton Social Concierge Services

·       Access to fortnightly Connected Business Club networking events

·       Option to host or sponsor events (additional cost), with promotional support

D. Basic Business Membership

·       Website listing in the Connected100 directory

·       Connected Brighton Social Club membership

·       Discounted event tickets and networking invites

·       Access to exclusive offers from fellow members

2. Payment Terms

Payment must be made in full (monthly or annually) at the time of sign-up via our online platform.

Monthly subscribers are required to set up a Direct Debit (GoCardless) as part of their payment method.

Late payments may incur additional fees.

3. Duration & Renewal

Membership is for a minimum 12-month period unless stated otherwise at sign-up.

Membership renews automatically unless cancellation is made at least 30 days before the renewal date.

4. Member Responsibilities

You agree to provide high-quality imagery for promotional use, in formats requested by Connected Brighton.

You agree to cross-promote your involvement by sharing events or posts via your own marketing channels.

You are responsible for ensuring your venue (if hosting) is properly staffed, insured (including Public Liability), and prepared for events.

5. Event-Related Terms (if applicable)

Event cancellation by the venue may incur a cancellation fee.

A minimum attendance requirement may be agreed upon; failure to meet this may result in event cancellation.

Connected Brighton reserves the right to cancel events with prior notice if minimum thresholds are not met.

6. Ownership of Content

All content created by Connected Brighton (including social posts, blogs, video, graphics) remains the intellectual property of Connected Brighton.

You may re-share content with appropriate credit unless otherwise agreed.

7. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep any shared confidential information private and not disclose it without written consent.

8. Liability & Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Connected Brighton against any claims, losses, or damages resulting from your use of services, breach of terms, or event-related incidents.

9. Modifications

These terms may be updated periodically. Members will be notified of changes, and continued participation will be considered acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Agreement

By signing up for a membership through the online portal and completing payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full.
